  • Knowledge of the current state of immunology and immuno-oncology

  • Experience with tumor associated immune cell-based functional assays (activation, differentiation, proliferation, suppression, target cell killing), cytokine analysis, primary cell isolation and differentiation, basic molecular biology (ELISA, western blot) and tissue culture techniques, and proficiency in multi-color flow cytometry

  • Extensive experience with primary immune cells of rodent and/or human origin as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the basics of cellular immunology as it applies to cancer.

  • Experience in establishing physiologically relevant immunology assays suitable for guiding drug design and optimization

  • Demonstrated creativity and novel approaches to solving scientific problems.
