About Invenra

Winning antibodies: designed, discovered, delivered.

Invenra isn’t your average antibody company. We’re obsessed with pushing the boundaries of what multispecific antibodies can do. After more than a decade of building and refining our platform technologies, we’ve cracked open the maximum design space, giving you optimized lead-candidate panels ready for downstream IND. We deliver solutions with no headaches or bottlenecks, just seamless business terms designed to get winning drugs to patients faster than ever.

We build bispecific and trispecific antibodies with one goal in mind: making sure the science your team is chasing never slows down because the tools can’t keep up. Your vision drives the work — we make sure nothing gets in its way.

Our Mission

In pursuit of cures

For decades, success in cancer therapy meant slowing a tumor’s growth and extending survival. Invenra was founded on the belief that we should aim for more.

The antibody is one of medicine’s most precise tools, a molecule that recognizes a specific target with extraordinary fidelity. When you can engineer that recognition to engage two targets at once, or three, innovation happens. You can engage immune cells while delivering a therapeutic to a tumor. You can address heterogeneous diseases that resist single-target therapy. You can achieve results that chemical, radiological, and conventional antibody therapies simply cannot.

The challenge has been making those multispecific molecules manufacturable, scalable, and reliably effective, without forcing the biology to bend to the limits of the technology. That’s the problem Invenra was built to solve. We want biology to win. The platforms we’ve built exist to make what was once thought to be impossible, possible.

HOW WE WORK The long view on antibody innovation

Invenra is privately held and founder-led. We’ve stayed that way on purpose. It means we get to decide what to work on, how to price it, and how long to spend getting the science right before we put it in your hands. It also means we can take on programs others might not, including partnerships where we share risk and reward.

This shapes everything from how we engineer molecules to how we structure customer relationships. We built a platform that genuinely works across diverse antibody sources, not just the ones that make for a good demo. We publish our pricing instead of burying it behind endless back and forth. We offer fee-for-service work to teams that just need clean, reliable material, and partnership engagements to teams building something larger.

Play the long game

Drug development takes years. We’ve structured Invenra so that the long timelines of antibody development don’t conflict with our own incentives. Your research goals are front and center.

Confidently move to IND

Our platforms are built around a hard problem: making bispecific and trispecific antibodies that transfer directly to manufacturing. We eliminate time-consuming development steps to minimize program risk and maximize speed.

Transparency everywhere

Our relationships are true partnerships. Pricing structures are clear and upfront. Process timelines are stated openly. Our scientists talk to customers directly. We treat our work as iterative collaboration, not a black box.

WHAT WE’VE BUILT A history rooted in antibody platform engineering

Most of our work has happened quietly. In fact, you may not have heard about us. For years, the B-Body® and T-Body™ platforms supported dedicated partnerships, advancing novel therapies through pipelines and into the clinic. The platforms delivered amazing results, sometimes even surprising us. The molecules behaved as intended. Partners seamlessly pushed their candidates to CDMOs. Today, we have a B-Body® molecule in clinical trials, with several more expected in the coming years.

With a proven toolkit in hand, we decided to share our secret, expanding access to more researchers, and standardizing service deliverables while continuing to embrace challenging projects with flexibility and the Invenra collaborative spirit. Whether you work at a start-up seeking your first investments, a university looking for tech transfer opportunities, or an established company of any size, we are ready, willing, and able to share what we have learned from years-long partnerships.

For decades, new treatments for advanced cancer were considered successful if they could slow the cancer’s growth and extend survival a few months. We should aim for more than a few months. Our goal must remain eliminating all cancer in patients and preventing cancer from ever coming back.”

Where we work

Madison, Wisconsin

There’s a reason so much antibody science comes out of this part of the country. The University of Wisconsin’s research footprint in oncology and immunology has shaped the field for decades, and Madison has grown into a leading biotech hub around it. Invenra is part of that lineage.

Our headquarters and labs sit in the same city as the Carbone Cancer Center, where some of the foundational work on cancer immunotherapy was done. Our Scientific Advisory Board includes researchers from that ecosystem. The people who built this company — and the people who work here today — came from it.
